Originally built for service at sea, this brass hanging light with copper pipe reflects the practical engineering of marine environments, where different metals were combined to manage heat, durability, and performance. Reclaimed from a decommissioned vessel, it carries the visible evidence of use before being carefully preserved for a second chapter ashore.
Why the Copper Pipe?
In marine lighting, copper was often used in upper components to help dissipate heat and protect wiring in enclosed fixtures. Paired with a brass housing for strength and corrosion resistance, the combination was functional rather than decorative, a solution shaped by necessity, not style.

All furniture orders ship through our U.S. Unlimited Furniture Delivery service.

Returns
Most merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging. Furniture and oversized items must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping and pickup fees apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery and service charges are non-refundable. All returned merchandise must be received in original condition and packaging. Items showing signs of use, damage, or alteration may not be eligible for return.
Customers should review product details and measure their space prior to purchase. Natural materials, reclaimed wood, and handcrafted finishes will vary in color, grain, texture, and patina. These variations are part of the product’s character and are not considered defects. No two pieces will be exactly alike.
Custom, made-to-order, and special order items are final sale and not eligible for return. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment once returned merchandise is received and inspected.
Damages or Defects
All merchandise is inspected prior to shipment. If an item arrives damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the item and packaging. Once confirmed, we will arrange repair, replacement, or resolution at no cost to you.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled prior to shipment. Once shipped, orders fall under the return policy above. Custom, made-to-order, and special order items cannot be canceled once production has begun.
